Sticky Agile Contributes Pro Bono Session to Africa Agility Foundation's Girls in Tech Cohort Bootcamp

Jul 1, 2023

As a women-owned business, Sticky Agile brings its expertise in leadership and teamwork to a twelve-week program empowering unemployed and low-income tech graduates from 52 African countries.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Sticky Agile is pleased to announce that it accepted an invitation from the Africa Agility Foundation to contribute a pro bono session to the African Girls in Tech Cohort Bootcamp. Co-Founders Judy Neher and Lonnie Weaver-Johnson led the session together, bringing their combined expertise in leadership and teamwork to a program designed to catalyze the technology career aspirations of the next generation of women in tech across the African continent.

The twelve-week bootcamp features eighteen sessions and is built to empower unemployed and low-income graduates from 52 African countries with the skills, confidence, and community they need to launch meaningful careers in technology. For Sticky Agile, the opportunity to contribute was not a difficult decision.

As a women-owned business, Sticky Agile has a deep personal investment in seeing women supported, uplifted, and given access to the kind of expertise and community that changes the trajectory of a career. Teaching young women in tech how to lead, collaborate, and show up powerfully in team environments is exactly the kind of work that connects to Sticky Agile's broader mission of building stronger humans at work.

"When we were asked to be part of this program, we said yes without hesitation. These young women are talented, driven, and ready. Getting to share what we know about leadership and working well with others felt like the least we could do. This is the kind of work that reminds you why you do what you do." - Lonnie Weaver-Johnson, Co-Founder and COO, Sticky Agile

"Sticky Agile believes in using our expertise to open doors for others. Supporting women in tech across 52 countries through a single session is a humbling reminder of how far knowledge can travel when you are willing to share it." - Judy Neher, CEO, Sticky Agile

Organizations inspired by Sticky Agile's commitment to human-centered leadership, team development, and building cultures where people can grow are welcome to reach out to learn more about their work.
